If this leak is true, Sony is making it abundandtly clear that LCD MiniLEDs are their flagships. It looks like Sony will completely ditch QD-OLED in favor of mid to high range WOLEDs (Bravia 9 MLA / Bravia 8). The absolute flagship is a MiniLED called Bravia 10 in 85 and 98 inches.

I do still have an LCD set in the bedroom, however. It's a fairly low end Sony, an X80J. Despite the advantages of the OLED's picture, there's still something about watching the LCD TV that I find more appealing. It's difficult for me to understand or describe exactly why that is.
Not only many LCD TVs suffer from this issue but even more OLEDs.. It will more/only show up in very dark shades of grey.. There goes the advantage of perfect blacks right out of the window.. Plasma TVs where super good in that regard and you enjoyed perfect screen uniformity for a very long time..
