Bottom falls out under Florida basketball in latest AP Top 25 Poll
The first edition of the AP Top 25 poll for the 2026 calendar year brought some bad news for Florida basketball.
Just six undefeated teams remain in men’s college basketball entering Monday and one of those teams is quickly gaining national attention.

Spartans drop in latest AP Top 25 poll
The Spartans dropped three spots in the latest AP Top 25 released on Monday, coming in at No. 12 in this week's updated poll. Michigan State lost its last game at Nebraska (who moved up to No. 10), which explains the drop in the updated rankings.
The Irish's streak of 85 consecutive appearances in the Top 25 ended following Atlantic Coast Conference losses to Georgia Tech, which has a losing record, and Duke. It was the third-longest active streak, trailing only UConn (616) and South Carolina (258).
