“Customer first” sounds great but it’s backwards. If you don’t put the company first, you won’t be around long enough to serve anyone. No margins. No profit. No business. Strong companies are built with real targets, healthy gross margins and real net profit, so the lights stay on and the phones get answered. The real order is simple: Company first. Employees second. Customers third. When the business is healthy, the team is taken care of and that’s how customers actually get served. From @chris
