As a Member of the Homeland Security Committee, I came to the Broadview ICE Processing Center to fulfill my congressional oversight authority, granted under appropriation laws. Yet, this Administration continues to deny our requests for answers and bypass Congressional authority b/c they don't want us to see the cruelty behind these doors.
