Meet the futuristic electric VTOL aircraft Saudi Arabia is buying. Lilium Jet is an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft aimed at revolutionizing short-distance travel with its jet-powered, sustainable design. German company Lilium tested its vertical takeoff "flying taxi" in southern Spain. The Lilium Jet is billed as the "first all-electric vertical take-off and landing jet" and looks set to bring electric air mobility to a number of countries in the coming years, including China, Italy and Switzerland. One analyst says "flying taxis" could be a reality for the average person by 2030, but that all depends on consumer demand. | NoComment
